Thread: A Rant & a Plea for Help

background
i've tried , tried program (dvd::rip, acidrip, vlc, etc.) rip dvds files on "ancient" imac g4 flowerpot running debian squeeze , openbox, no avail.

rant
why there not single "turnkey" program linux ripping dvds? claim are, none of them are. seems such simple request. i've tried command-line versions of random scripts out there , none, in not one worked any of dvds.

request help
i'm not looking rip dvd, upload it, , have others thieve it, stealing money needy pockets of production ceos; have no problem that, though, it's not i'm trying do. i'm not looking responses "blame corporations, bro" or other useless comments... i'm looking 100% effective, guaranteed work method on ppc imac rip dvd.

takers?

i don't know ppc ubuntu repos (never used it), k9copy seems capable of doing job.

note, i've never used k9copy either.

post whether or not works you!

edit: looked , seems k9copy is in natty ppc repos, give try.
