Thread: Sending email from an ubuntu server without using personal account...

so set ubuntu server couple of people , want able email them , me when needs to.

myself, i've done setup ubuntu sends email through gmail account these other installations, don't want use personal email address.

own domain hosted lunarpages don't mind using if helps. email come support@my_special_domain.com or something.

possible work without ever worrying isps blocking email (port 25)? there reliable way this?

you have various options send emails.

if each user's server's isp allows it, send emails using isp's smtp. test it. if works, that's cool. isps allow it, , others not.

option use hosting company emails. there ultra-cheap ones email-only, if sending occasional, low-volume emails, sounds though want do.

company hosting current set-up, lunarpages? surely host allows send emails? preferred option, clean, , easy maintain , control.

finally, add new email address gmail , send though gmail. aware, though, such method expose personal gmail address recipients — create new gmail account purpose (though check gmail's t&c whether or not allowed).

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
