Thread: Strange thing on ACER Aspire 1603LC

hello ubuntu devs here strange problem have been having since lucid releace of ubuntu incuding new natty.. have 2 of old laptop use , works perfect ubuntu 9.10 .. when try install lucid or natty or fedora.. have i/o error.. iv been hard headed since somtimes got boot randomly , afte many many trys found out if pressed keys started load normaly.. , when got ubuntu boted cd while kept mouse moving fine no error no nothing.. exact second stop moving mouse or not press key stops moving.. loading mouse curser , if move again keeps on working.. if leave still more second or 2 when resumes give read errors maybe long of delays in responses ... there way fix this.. seems while there somthing generating kind of external interupts mouse or keyboard works fine... realy keep old laptop date latest ubuntu relases , not stay stuck on version 9.. btw both laptops exact same thing..

have rock on ctrl key keeping pressed , seem instaling see if after install , internet uptdates automaticly fixes itself.. if not apreceate thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well no did not intal seems compleatly hang when gets configuring language part of instalation.. ohh 1 thing forgot when ubuntu live cd boots if hit alt tab see stdin error.. hast problem think!!

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
