Thread: WINE not properly running program

i trying run program called 'roblox' on ubuntu using wine. roblox 3d game design environment.

when roblox opens normally, brings 'configuring roblox' message box if roblox being updated or needs configured on new system. after that- closes dialog box , bricks 'starting roblox' box side scrolling progress bar. when application complete roblox studio opens.

in ubuntu studio never opens. every time open roblox file or roblox studio goes through configuration , update stage , 'starting roblox' box. application disappears after that.

when try opening rbxl (roblox) file using terminal this:

kelson@ubuntu:~$ wine "/home/kelson/corn.rbxl/"
wine: bad exe format z:\home\kelson\corn.rbxl\.


have experience sort of problem? appreciated.

after searching on there, users
in order roblox working, need install ie7 , wmp10 via winetricks. browser plugin doesn't work, , pain log in. can still use studio build.
so, may or may not want, might @ least further.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
