i have acrobat x on laptop, mac os 10.7.4, downloaded cloud cs6, , on mac desktop, os 10.5 think. both versions keep crashing or corrupting pdf files. on laptop, since couldn't find 'deactivate' function in (i know have open document in order deactivate appear in help), uninstalled acrobat pro. however, when application manager, says have acrobat pro installed. do make pro install anew, , work properly?

i sucessfull in resolving issue running cs6 cleaner tool mac , reinstalling application manager. please follow below steps.
1. close adobe applications.
2. downlaod cs6 cleaner tool , run it.
( download cs6 cleaner tool here : http://download.macromedia.com/pub/creativesuite/cleanertool/mac/adobecreativesuitecleaner tool.dmg )
3. remove cs6 applications using tool.
4. download , run l application manager.
