Audio is three slides out of phase
i'm working client made initial recording (using captivate 5.5 windows), audio during recording. on reviewing project file, 340 slides long, noticed starting @ around slide 90, audio 3 slides out of phase visuals. in other words, audio slide 93 describes action in slide 90.
- does know how happened?
- is there slide/file size limit after audio gets out of phase?
- is there way "shift" audio clips 3 slides backwards without manually re-inserting audio clips library manually each slide? (this involve on 200 slides.)
i noticed client tended click while speaking, there lot of short unnecessary slides, don't think have caused phase problem -- or it?
this issue occurs large projects containing hundreds of slides audio has been recorded single file. basically, each pc , browser handle rendering , playing of file differently , @ different speeds.
the best way have slides synched nicely audio make sure voiceover not loading 1 huge audio file. if person captured of did 1 big audio file, need force captivate split audio each slide. way, separate small audio file loaded each slide , synchronisation far more reliable.
if have slide audio 1 big file markers set throughout audio synch slides, go each slide, select audio waveform on timeline slide , move audio clip right beginning of slide. same @ end of slide. audio file should not touch beginning or end of timeline on slide. gap has 1 tenth of second @ either end achieve result captivate render chunk of audio out separate file @ runtime , load particular slide. once audio broken this, synchronisation should work lot better.
