Bug in my Illustrator or preference setting?

yesterday saved pdfs illustrator cs5 started not preview correctly--in preview or adobe acrobat.   

  after testing i've found if make change pdf , hit save, no longer previews show full artboard size; shows cropped veiw of art. if choose save-as, previews correctly. 

 

  replaced users/library/aics5/preference file morning backup keep on server problem still happening.  1 example.  have image saved within an  8.5 x 11 artboard/page size.  after making change , hitting save, it's previewing , showing in acrobat 7.09 x 6.37 artboard. 

 

  1 other detail--a coworker checked out 1 of files , illustrator (also cs5) doing same thing other files she's saving.

 

so, sound corruption in software?  transferable bug?  or did accidentally change save option no longer recognizing artboard?

adobe illustrator cs5 running on mac 10.6.8.  2 x 2.6 ghz quad-core intel xeon, 7gb ram

same problem here in cs6 .

anybody has solution?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
