CS6: black or shows 'media pending'

this project specific problem:

 

the video screen remains black or shows 'media pending'. no hd @ work find media.

the audio play, however, plot not visible can seen in provided screenshot.

the program freezes when closing project.

 

project info:

- working vob (dvd) files.

- project contains cuts of on 124 hours of dvd video , additional 5.1 audio exports linked videos again.

- project files on external usb 3 disk.

- 'save cache files next originals' enabled not eat internal disk space. when switching cs6 deleted cache files , let premiere recreate them.

 

system:

cs6, windows 7 64bit, 16gb ram.

plenty of ram free when project opened. intel i7 cpu around 12% continuesly.

 

i finish project started in cs5...

the answer in parentheses next file name blurred out in project panel.  clips have re-indexed -- because deleted index files when deleted cache files.  re-indexing may have occurred if hadn't deleted cache files because of change cs5.5 cs6.

 

the freezing because indexing operation can't stopped, , pr didn't trying close before finished.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
