First time poster: spam/zoo help requested - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello croatia. have site http://www.total-hvar.com built on joomla platform zoo software well. didn't build it, have been managing ever since , have been pleased job creator did. unfortunately, have couple of problems , cannot hold of him. gentle advice on following 3 problems gratefully accepted.

1. being killed spam, 100 messages hour. in fact, can no longer access comments section, error message comes - fatal error: allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried allocate 1576802 bytes) in /home/lashie/public_html/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 627

i tried changing permissions admin in user manager - options, no joy. , advice on howto kill spam , access messages back?

2. want replace joomla search box custom google search, current 1 not pick titles of articles in search reason, , returns poor results.

3. have revolving banner on pages, want remove on some. tried on page example http://total-hvar.com/index.php/eating- ... estaurants message not load widget id 24. remains. how remove?

here ideas you:

* spam. i'm assuming in relation blog? i'm not familiar zoo, whatever blog element of solution, there option somewhere enable captcha should stop automated posts appearing?
* google search. @ glance, first 2 on page: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/search-a-indexing/web-search
*revolving gallery. under extensions: module manager should find module manages gallery. it's assigned position called 'top-a' hence in position column. open it, scroll bottom , you'll see pages in site assigned to. i'm wondering if you'll find whole load of similar entries looks have different galleries on different pages.... 1 error 'id24' related module id of 24 listed in far right column of extensions: module manager page.
