Modules disappear when site moved with Akeeba on same server - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
so, very, weird indeed.
this development site: http://www.drb-holding6.co.uk/
it transferred using akeeba live url: http://www.alphabettispaghettitheatre.co.uk/
as (may) see, 3 advertising images @ bottom of page missing me on actual domain. can't explain why..... i've moved dozens of sites akeeba , i've never had problem before. doubt whether akeeba though...
* these 3 modules in module position bottom-a, none of them visible after i've moved site
* if create custom html module in position bottom-a, random text in it, shows fine
* code (for yoowidget) appear there when view source
i've checked , double-checked syntax , i'm sure (!) it's ok. i've looked editor - none, in case jce doing odd.
as said in subject line, makes particularly strange 2 sites on same rochen server, there's no different version of php making difference.
then gets weirder:
* images are there (for me) on firefox on development site
* images aren't there (for me) on firefox on live site
* images are there (for me) on opera , ie on live site
the client friend , asked him if can see these 3 advertising modules , said (on firefox , chrome!).
so, me?! help/thoughts appreciated.
many thanks,
dave.
