SEO problems moving from HTML to Jooma web site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

greetings all!

i writting because i'd have information.

i have move html web site thousands of pages joomla 2.5.
this web site positioned on serp , has several links various sections. had on 35.000 visitors on october 2012.
i found patch changes suffix of joomla pages .html .htm because web pages of site have .htm suffix now.
i’d keep current domain lose none links; not know how proceed moving html web site joomla concerning seo side.
i cannot mistake! i’m thinking of doing this:

a) i’ll new web pages in joomla 2.5 in directory hidden robots; i’ll copy content site on line in these web pages.

b) i’ll add html web pages old move in joomla in directory. don’t want loose these web pages because gives "weight" site search engines.
if keep same suffix among web pages in joomla , old html web pages problems should not indoor links.

c) when i’ll have migrated main part of contents in joomla, i’ll delete web pages in root of site , there put site in joomla piece of old pages in html.

i suppose preferable transfer contents in joomla, work big, limit myself few hundred.

i’ll grateful if give me opinion on this.
thank much.
bye
andrew
