Thread: Disadvantage of V.10 over 11?

hi,

installed version 11.04 of ubuntu, , disapointed.
don't sidebar, , miss menu-system in lynx.
, on top of that, still have same stupid bugs before. (jumpy cursor wacom-tablets, , titlebars of windows missing.)
want either change bar , panel behaviour of 11.04 or switch lynx.
question is, there disadvantages of version 10 on 11 if have latest kernel installed?

you can run classic gnome in 11.04. @ login screen, enter name before enter password, choose classic option @ bottom of screen. enter password , taken desktop similar in 10.04.

before make judgement whether want revert 10.04, try unity desktop (choose ubuntu @ login). there many people, myself included, disliked unity @ first prefer it. first link in sig may found way around interface.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
