Thread: Fan always making noise

hi everyone,

fan making noise. running on full speed. it's vacuum cleaner , not relaxing watch movie popcorn sucked in lol

laptop hp pavilion dv6547ea. notice if open few program or playing movie fan starting make more noise. or when running libreoffice. it's quite hard keep laptop still (unless sit in basement not option).

there option reducing processor speed make fun less noisy? knew there such kind of power option (or when had windows 7).

or maybe there problem computer doesn't recognize temperature well?

according xsensors 0.70 temperature 59°c (still making noise higher degrees 70-80-90°c. 1 reading labeled acpitz temp 1.

it maybe time replace fan or @ least clean it. shouldn't making noise regardless of it's speed.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
