Thread: Mac OS X 10.6 & Ubuntu 11.04

dear community,

have macbook5,1 (alluminium 13" unibody) , install ubuntu 11.04 on mac.

there way install "dual-boot mac osx , ubuntu" without refit using other alternative ?

had many troubles refit 0.13 , 0.14 (and sync process) show me things not exist , not show things exist.
have killed mac 2 times refit , reinstalled each time all.

there other alternative (event if choosing os made opt. key) ? possible install bootcamp ? ... or other efi mult-boot ?

you may want read web page on booting ubuntu in efi mode. although describes setting refit, way it's set different enough may work better you. furthermore, if prefer, can configure grub computer's primary boot selector. require deviations, , possibly custom grub entry launch apple's .efi boot file, should work, @ least in principle.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
