Thread: One-time wireless confit for all users


i've found need configure wifi passphrase every user--otherwise don't wireless.

under kubuntu, used wide included network manager performed extremely poorly, @ least under jaunty. once configured wicd, automatically ran users. believe wa available before logins.

there way behavior on ubuntu? (it seems me should default behavior anything, . . .)

using wick going mess else?

using wick going mess else?
depends on version installing. installed wicd yesterday test on natty 11.04 , works fine after removing network manager. now, not show in upper panel unless added whitelist (trusted applets). have not done yet testing wicd here..
