Thread: Operative System not found.
so, i'm here in name of friend in trouble.
using mint, , did this:
went gparted, created ntfs partition install windows xp.
rebooted window's cd, ready install it, not able (i guess can figure way later).
rebooted again, tried go through linux , well, "operative system not found" popped up.
went through live cd, did a:
and came up:code:sudo fdisk -l
ideas now?

better overview of going on, please following:
boot ubuntu live cd/usb. choose option "try ubuntu without changes." once desktop loads come here , following:
1. download boot info script in zipped file. there link in signature.
2. once downloaded, move boot info script either copying or dragging , dropping zipped folder onto desktop , unzip contents using right-click extract here.
3. open folder , copy script desktop (you can drag , drop if like)
4. open terminal , run following command
this create results.txt file on desktop. paste entire contents of file here in new post. once pasted highlight text , click # sign on toolbar place code tags around text.code:sudo bash ~/desktop/boot_info_script.sh
can use mint cd of course.
