Thread: Second monitor in Portrait does not work in unity, but does in unity-2d


hi

have notebook (1680x1050) attached second monitor (1440x900), standard settings. when using maverick, used monitor in vertice (portrait) mode, switched horizontal (panorama) before upgrading natty. upgraded natty (unity), , wanted switch vertical, switched second monitor rotate right in monitor applet, second monitor scrambled (i saw mouse though clearly, when moving second monitor).

changing seeting under unity-2d, work , portrait screen, use unity. same problem kde. fluxbox works fine. guess has comopositing, , when execute

compiz --replace
under unity-2d, monitor becomes scrambled again.

below output lshw concerning graphic card.

able change orientation seciond monitor again under unity...

ideas?
