Thread: terminal Server Client to connect Ubuntu to Ubuntu

hi ubuntu communnity:

i've got 2 lucid lynx machines connected on local network, , want able remote terminal sessions.

know ip address of both machines.

i'vw installed tightvncvierwer

both machines have been set allow:

system > remote desktop i've checked boxes:

allow others view desktop
allow others control desktop
configure network automatically
display icon when connected

i'm able connect other ubuntu machine, but:

mouse very, tiny , doesn't allow me run/open applications (eg nautius)

also, screen resolution terrible.

when connect windows machine, however, perfect... have full functionality of windows machine , resolution perfect.

doing wrong?

same problem! seems screen disabled assuming feature doesn't work yet? but, in addition this:

1) win7 how connect ubuntu. using win 7 rd, can connect win 2008 r2 vm (using vbox). os showing in network list (on win 7 , ubuntu) , can connect them using win explorer.

2) have ubuntu vm , ubuntu server. why ubuntu rd show these 2 in list , not windows 08 r2 vm , win 7?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
