Thread: vmplayer guest (Win7Pro) stomps on host sound 10.10

greetings,

recently, sound has started acting up. if starting fresh boot, (sound apparently working) start vmplayer , start win 7 pro 64 bit guest. alls "good" starts plays windows sound. sound works. didn't test audio in windows, dont' have configured. problem begins when put windows 7 guest sleep or shutdown , exit vmplayer.

no longer have system sounds , audio. have fiddled around , managed working. think reboot did bring back, not fix. has else experienced this?
