Transferring multiple paths

when image needs complex pathing outsource pathing work. send out proxy flattened file pathing, , recieve file several path layers attached, , path layers want bring real working file.

 

if ps worked way i'd i'd able shift=click alll paths , drag them 1 file other, since ps doesn't allow more 1 path layer selected @ time, dragging/droping of many path layers gets tedious (especially since, if forget deactivate last layer moved next layer brought in gets compunded it.)

 

is there script can simplify path transfer process me?

 

(as write realize might simpler trasnfer layers working file proxy path file instead, there alpha channels , file name issues contend with.)

 

anyway, guys have been extremely helpful, forward hearing advice.

 

(i'm using cs6, if matters)

i'm scure script written job.  creating scripts work me.  if may worth effort write script.  thing don't often  may easier create action transfer paths other documents.  quite easy create such action.

 

open document paths in paths palette.

in action palette create new action set name transfer paths.next start recording new action name paths project x.

next hit stop recording button.

then highlight first path in paths palette

use action's plaette's fly-out menu item insert path.

repeat highligh , insesrt path process rest of path in paths palette.

then click record button in actions palette

in paths palette drag "work path" new path icon in bottom of paths palette.

click stop recording  button in action's palette.

next hold down alt|options key , drag copy of last step make path after other set work path steps

 

here example open new document 1000px 1000px , play action
