AE CS6: Could not convert Unicode characters (23 :: 46)

i sudenlty getting error message.

 

i importing native xdcam file ae win 7 when error message first appeared.  subsequent that, merely clicking on import button (no file selected) gives same error message.

 

it seemed "clear" dragging avi file across bridge.  using same technique, able drag across orignal xdcam file. however, error message reoccurs when try save project.  not allow it.

 

i opened completed, tried , tested project - , gives error message when try "saved as".  however, perform "increment , save" without dirplaying message.

 

i looked adobe - replacing files language folders etc, hasn't done trick.  suggested (cs3, cs4) whatever language txt file in amt language folder, 1 ae installed with.  however, every lanuage txt file resides in there!  perhaps has changed cs6.  made assumption have used en_gb.txt.  based on assumption, carried out recommended procedure.  no change!

 

my motherboard replaced yesterday - , had ask adobe activation - didn't realise mb replacement constituted additional computer! hence didn't think deactivate suite beforehand.  cause issue?

have trashed ae prefs in between? if not, try that. also, if replaced mobo may cause issues disk mapping on general level du potential differences in bios settings sata bus. in case should check things in device manager , disk management tool , run fcheck well. verify user privileges vs. file permissions. may have garbage there prevents file i/o working properly...
