Captivate 6 - The same sound issues as Captivate 5

this has been problem i've experienced previous versions of captivate when publishing in flash.

 

the course works fine in captivate, when publish, audio in of courses clipped. @ start of slide, although @ end.

 

i've looked through forums , done following:

 

  • made sure there pause before / after audio in each slide
  • ticked "force republish" box when publishing

 

however, maddening thing it's not consistent. each time republish, glitches move about. on same file, glitches move / disappear / appear when reload. "rewinding" course makes glitches disappear not others.

 

please help!

i've found can avoid of these issues having small gap @ beginning of audio clip mentioned (about 1 tenth of second), have 1 half second of "dirty silence" on audio clip before voiceover starts talking.  "dirty silence" nothing special. it's normal low level sound microphone before or between words on voiceover.  if silence @ beginning or end of clip pure, captivate removes automatically, , can result in clipping.

 

i've found if start voiceover close beginning of audio clip, , there glitch of kind, you'll audio cut off.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
