Help With Project

captivate v5.5

 

i have created project detailing document , how complete it. 

 

many of slides contain explanations of terminology within document 5 terms explained on 1 slide

 

i create "index" slide @ start of project list different terms used throughout project enable learner to  click on term  , jump , view relevant slide. 

 

i need slide stop when gets end rather project continue.

 

need  "return index" button on slide enable further searching or to  exit project. 

 

i can create index slide , create click boxes jump different slides, struggling "return index" button set correctly.

 

i want "return" button visible start of slide end of slide, slide not move forward when gets end, , of course return learner index slide , "return" button have visible on many different slides.

 

any appreciated, suggested alternatives, or trying achieve impossible ?

did try simple action 'go last slide visited' return button?

 

if keep default pausing button, move pause near end of slide, if understand question correctly should need. suppose 1 slide visited index slide, , not enable playbar because next button of playbar advance physically next slide.
