multiclip conforming workaround

hello there,

i working on solid multicam project these days , ran pretty same obstacles being pointed out in this thread.

in short: found out way matching frames multiclip sequence source is:

quote:

"when hit "f" on sequence, final cut pop underlying source clip in source monitor (including in/out)  immidiately, premiere doesn't.

premiere pops multiclip in source monitor , highlights angle chose (not soure clip, e.g. mvi_5091.mov).

result: "conforming" get's bumpy have to:

- go multicam sequence first (ctrl+shift+f)

- target right track (which gives way human errors , takes aeons 16 tracks)

- hit "f" (to wanted...the source clip!)

- mark in

- add couple of frames

- mark out

- sequence

- paste selection above mc_track , finally:

- align cut "

furthermore can't collapse multiclips in fcp.

another problem rendered proxies in 720p finish 1080p, because didn't need bigger , i'm new premiere unfortunately wasn't aware of cannot-change-it-later circumstance.

so end nested 720p sequence, cannot change 1080p.

so question have is:

is there way tell multicam sequence nested sequence it's pointing one (newly created 1080p sequence) now?

any suggestions appreciated.

sebastian.

at point best suggestion can make forget fcp work flow.  things different you're using pp.

for starters, don't edit proxies.  use original media.

second, you've noticed, trying send out multicam sequence external grading apps pita, until adobe works out proper dynamic link work flow speedgrade, don't that.  use tools built-in pp, or add third party tools colorista ii , looks.  addition of adjustment layers in cs6, can whole lot more cc , grading right inside of pp.
