Question regarding Export and Import

first let me software comes without save button should sold warning label.

 

question 1:  have having issue comprehending how save photo.  in case  select photo, zoom in on subject, export desktop. pciture on desktop not incorporate change. missing step? need export change? watched tube video on , not see not doing.

 

 

question 2: installed lightroom , trying import 12k strong photo collection. import button pulls in 2k , cannot find anymore. photos stored in folders date within master folder. selecting master folder. can go in , import sub-fodler individually. not want 200 times.there no apparent way go subfolder level , select more 1 folder.

 

can me upgrade opinion of lightroom it's current level of pos usuable?

you must have selected wrong option in export dialog box. under "file settings", need select jpg , not "original". of course, need additional viewing of videos (or reading) learn people's workflow not automatically include "save" or "export" after editing photo. it's not necessary part of lightroom's workflow, unless need photo non-lightroom activity.

in import dialog box, on left, under "source", there checkbox says "include subfolders". make sure checked.

 

seriously, need spend time reading introductory material lr because lightroom not work other photographic software might have used in past. handling if no different standard photo editing software, , going frustrated if mindset. see videos @ adobe.tv , read this: http://www.flickr.com/groups/adobe_lightroom/discuss/72157603590978170/

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
