SEF in Joomla Problems - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

so here's details:

on joomla 2.5.8
on rochen hosting have site works second site has sef issue
i have parent category sub category
i have 1 menu link parent (category list) + sub category
i have sef on: search engine friendly urls set , use url rewriting set well

all other links seem work sef.
going parent category 1 menu link fine, displays sef url in browser , page shows showing sub categories (which have articles in them) descriptions.

but, if click on linked titles of sub categories on page, jos-error: category cannot found. happens if click on other menu link links directly sub category(s).

now...if totally disable sef, works. if turn off "use url rewriting" if keep "search engine friendly urls" setting on in configuration, works. it's when enable "use url rewriting" when jos-error: category cannot found happens.

**before asks, yes, double checked naming , alias names make sure there no name conflicts.

any ideas?

here update... i'm confused.
i imported live site local computer on xampp...an exact duplicate including settings, everything. links , sef work, no jos-error's. on live server, errors exist. got follow host tech support saying not server issue.

so...again, ideas?


scratch that....i found issue , info others. when making template, make sure if create template directories , files blank, remember go , fill them in code :-[

my component.php empty , error.php empty.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
