Shortened interlaced video?

i'm sorry vague title: i'm rather lost locating problem.

i've few 1080i mpeg-2 .ts video files. there's bug nvidia gfx driver , severly blue-tinted when played. opening in premiere (cs6), however, fixes problem.

the thing is, video compressed: 3298 seconds down 2674; speed increase of 123%. (almost if 30fps video being squeezed onto 25fps timeline.) frame rate of video (according windows' properties > details 29 fps. sequence settings i've tried using avchd 1080i60 or choosing else @ random followed dragging video onto timeline , clicking "change sequence settings".

deinterlacing turned off; turning on seems not affect in terms of quality. again, i've never worked non-progressive scanned video before. secondary question, must enable before rendering?

oh, , original audio unchanged.

how can fix without manually changing speed of video?

what model of camcorder did video come from?

it's quite possible that, if it's not camcorder video, there may proprietary codec in there that's giving premiere elements fits.
