Thread: "Input not supported" with 11.04 after proprietary drivers.

hello all,

i've got older computer that's frankenstein of parts installed lucid lynx on hobby learning computer. wanted try natty narwhal upgraded "input not supported" on monitor, brought 11.04 classic. after doing poking around, saw people fixed problem updating proprietary drivers on video cards. did well, download , install , restarted computer. it's giving me "input not supported" indefinitely , isn't restarting in classic desktop.

don't remember offhand in it, or video card has, it's 4-5 years old. specs ballpark 2g processor, 3g ram , 150g hd. video card base level nvidia less 1g ram on it's own. i'm thinking 512mb. love give more definite answers can't use computer find out.

i'm semi literate when comes computers, can keep up, other times need use small words , talk slowly. :s

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
