Thread: Screen Flicker on Samsung Syncmaster @ 1920, Only works on lower resolution
i'm running ubuntu 11.04 , purchased samsung syncmaster b2430.
if try run screen resolution @ 1920, bad intermittent flickering in general use , becomes unusable when viewing video
if run @ 1240 - fine ... that's not why bought 24" monitor.
when run lspci -v video controller.

an update above. colleague, running identical hardware/operating system can use same monitor without issues ... refresh rate of 50hz.
don't seem able change refresh 60hz 50hz on preferences>monitors.
there way this?
