Thread: Shared network folder contents not showing up over SSH

hi all, i'm pretty new ubuntu , linux in general.

have windows maching attached nas drobo device. have linux maching running ubuntu 11.04 , have edited fstab file , been able map windows folders drobo , mount fine. on linux machine can access these folders , run music/video files them. when i'm @ computer , ssh ubunutu maching, can see mounted folders using ls command can't see contents of folders. know why might happening?

ok, i've figured out way work, don't know why happens this.

know when using ubunut machine itself, when loads, can log in, mapped directories drobo shown in /home dir put them. can double-click them go them , contents show up.

had rebooted ubuntu machine, ssh'd in maching, , can see mapped drives, can't see contents. ssh'd machine run mount -a, , list contents , works.

drives not mounted @ boot-up in fstab file reason? or networked drives don't mounted until accessed gui or forced mount? how can force mount @ startup?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
