Thread: TightVNC server permission issues
hello ubuntu forum!
have installed tightvnc server via ssh on computer (ubuntu 10.04), configured run daemon...
have multiple hard drives in machine , cannot mount them, create new partitions...
following message: permission denied : "not authorized"
strange these operations when physically on computer (not via remote desktop).
know tightvnc creates new desktop on connection don't understand why change access rights...
note: can want when vnc login root.
please me believe permission problem tightvnc ?
i've spent time on web , couldn't find similar problem or solution.

are able sudo/gksu remote session? can user sudo/gksu when operating interactively?
