hi all

new , dumb blonde when comes computers bare me!

installed ubuntu 10.4 approx 1 yr ago (installed within windows not wubi , not seperarate partition) running side side windows quite happily (which acquired, if know mean) beta version has expired. i, wish ditch windows altogether happy ubuntu but, not have windows disk. think there problem pc no longer burn cd/dvd , there 4 x bad sectors on disk!!! still have disk 10.4 version on but, computer not boot disk?

start again clean slate! have been searching net , tried posted past 3 days now!!! cannot option restore factory settings, on pc (acer aspire 1650) reboot windows disk (which not have) which, trying rid of!!! want ubuntu nothing else!!!

please, damsel in distress!!!! debs

the easiest way be, said, start clean sheet.

you might want backup things before following instructions below.

1) burn cd ubuntu (you might want stick 10.04 since it's lts) or make bootable usb-drive.

2) boot cd/usb (you can enter boot-menu hitting f12 when laptop booting up) , follow simple installtion of ubuntu.

be careful when reach partitioner if have several hard drives!

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
