Thread: Write Zeros To External Hard Drive?


sorry if missed thread on can't find it. have external hard drive connected via usb cable - /media/new volume - , mounted in ubuntu 10.04. how can "write zeros" drive or maybe write random characters in effort wipe data on disk?
