Will Screen Resolution Kill DPS?

it beginning make dps challenging!

 

the iphone 5 coming 4" screen. @ 16:9 aspect ratio means retina display of 1152 x 648.

 

i've been contemplating supporting nexus 7 because has been received though kindle fire has been collecting dust months.

 

and intend support iphone 5! had customer today wants 16:9.

 

yet @ point can no longer ignore android tabs , phones?

 

it appears apple bring out 7" ipad mini. apple may stick 4:3 aspect ratio...possibly keep first gen mini @ non-retina resolution of 1024 x 768. let's hope do!!! done & done!

 

but agree bob l isn't cost effective layout both h , v's. nor have pushed out retina folio yet because can skate 1024 x 768 pdf folios on ipad 3.

 

what multiple layouts, multiple aspect ratios, multiple viewers, clunky workflow, bulky folios, slow server speeds, no ad network support...plus exorbitant per unit download fees...i'm beginning think more responsive web design, html5 , epub.

 

i thought jason pontin @ technology review had bad experience dps. may right. becoming mess...anyone had success liquid layout?

the answer mess eventually, output these devices going have html/css based. can creating html articles , publishing way.

 

of course, you'll have give little creative freedom since device determine layout.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
