2nd monitor color management: Ps v Lr

please me understand following problem ... first, hardware:  macbook air (mid-2011) os x 10.8, nec wide gamut p221w monitor connected secondary display.  nec display calibrated spectraview , x-rite eye-one display sensor.

i work lightroom 4 exclusively, on occassion turn photoshop cs5 working layers.  i've configured lr using ps alternate editor , lr supposed create psd file, 16bit , embed prophotorgb working color space.  problem is, these exported psd images appear undersaturated on nec display ... examining psd data implies pprgb.  ps configured adobergb, appropriately asks mismatch, , select use pprgb  these undersaturated colors in contrast how lr displays same image on same monitor.  also, if put both images on macbook primary display (lr in background, ps in front), colors appear same.  also, if quit both programs , open ps , load recent image, colors appear correct saturation ...

i can conclude lr interferes ps compensating via nec's display profile ... , therefore i'll need close lr when editing ps.  has behaviour been verified else?  there remedy??
