Bots downloading material - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello.

yesterday switched download component had possibility e-mail me, if downloaded file.

so when checked inbox morning, i've received 100 e-mails, telling me 2 different ip addresses have downloaded material website 5.19 pm 7.28 pm.
later received yet 100 e-mails 4 other different ip addresses downloading exact same material, 10.58 11.20 am.

too odd behaviour ordinary people, figure bots.

is there anyway combat this? of course captcha 1 way, component use doesn't offer service (phoca download). can combine component captcha plugin?

the site running joomla 1.5.24 stable version.

hi, phoca download not have feature allow downloading files @ once. if bot visits site , goes every link (inlcude download links) maybe should "whole site" protection, e.g. ban bot displaying site, etc.


if check out post, user reporting same issue yourself.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
