Bridge CS6 will not start in Windows 7
bridge cs6 (both 32 , 64) don't start in windows 7.
bridge starts in task manager few seconds, goes away. no errors, no logs.
i have tried suggestions i've found within forums, including checking settings,, temp environment variables, deleting c:\users\[your user name]\appdata\roaming\adobe\bridge cs6 (including directory itself), etc. no luck. adding new user, using start bridge worked great, not solution. 1 added piece of info: bridge did recreate above directory before dying, although remains empty. haven't found logfiles might understand how far got. there log file or registry setting enable detailed logging diagnose this?
i managed gather temp xml file has info might help. file shows few seconds when bridge running.

there in normal user's profile or environment getting in way of startup. yes, normal user admin. (adobe) have code , startup can't convoluted. should able walk code, figure out things checked between creating above directory , next externally detectable step (like creating file in directory or logging log file), reply here list of specific things check.
i got chat adobe support several days ago, went through several steps of ensuring using licensed version told didn't know bridge , asked call during day on monday. sign off message chat funny - mentioned 24x365 support :-) luckily, i've worked support in past , have sense of humor.
i tried file bug form web, failed navigate amazingly bad support web experience of adobe.com. @ 1 point, had found place it, pasted above window, tried submit - wasn't logged in. so, clicked login link , got error pop-up window bad-link error. came in fresh - logged in, not find "report bug" screen again. amazing. guess, if cannot report bug, doesn't exist - congratulations on bug-free products.
a suggestion:
provide simple link report bug that's not tied service plan. way tell problems hope solution provided in future release - these can optionally logged forums community involvement. don't mind logging in prove i'm valid user.
adobe staff has browse these forums on own time (i know should part of job) visits infrequent.
there several sites report bugs seems counterproductive. think 1 has support right now. http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family
and sure not running bridge cs5 in background? can run 1 bridge program @ 1 time.
in both mac , win os seems workaround create new user works frequently, hassle. in problem solving did unistall run adobe script cleaner?
although stretch problem, might search uninstall directroy , see if there expired adobe trials have not uninstalled. whatever reason can stop launch of bridge "as need launch parent application @ least once". apparently though long gone still seeing "parent" program. said kind of stretch here, never know.
good luck on know extrememly frustrating , adobe have communication problems.
that why important users step , start contributing these forums suggestions on try, thiings have tried , worked or did not, etc.
