Digital signatures getting more difficult

i'm sure there reasons changes, viewpoint digital signatures in acrobat becoming less convenient each new version try.

 

i make extensive use of invisible signatures, number of people required invisibly sign each document. in acrobat 5.05 breeze, either using menu option or dropdown in signatures panel (my preferred method). deleting signature field equally convenient. right click field , delete it.

 

in acrobat 7, menu , dropdown options disappeared , 1 has go through bunch of screens there. not terrible, less convenient. also, documents created using acrobat 5 or 7 signed using either version long document created using acrobat 5 (pdf 1.4) compatibility. deletion, signature fields must cleared first, , can deleted. in both cases, creating invisble signatures , deleting signature fields, there more steps in acrobat 7 in acrobat 5.05. can live it, seems reverse progress me.

 

now trying boss use acrobat 10 invisibley sign documents created using acrobat 7 , invisibly signed others using acrobat 7 , acrobat 5.05. if there's way it, can't find it. suppose create blank signature graphic, seems silly. neither can find way delete signature fields. can clear them, not delete them.

 

i'm guessing changes digital signature functionality have making signed pdfs more secure , more difficult tamper with, find hard believe can't accomplished without losing functionality.

 

i need able have multiple invisible signatures , capability remove signature fields, , need able in acrobat versions 5.05, 7, , x documents created using of versions. if knows how can done, please let me know.
