Project Management Contacts with iMaqma - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hello everyone, ´m learning joomla , have been assigned project contact management, searching web found extension called imaqma helpdesk, have installed in machine.
now wonder if has had experience extension can share it, because need following:
1. - home of portal should login page if user has placed username , password should load helpdesk system.
2. - how assign different functions users, eg user can everything, user b can see.
could me this?

i have no experience imaqma know if want set homepage need change default menu item component want show on homepage i.e. imaqma.
if imaqma has native joomla! acl applied have setting permissions in config of component can use assign users different functions.
you can learn acl here: http://docs.joomla.org/access_control_list/2.5/tutorial
you find more detailed contacting components developer.
