PSCS3 won't open Nikon D7000 RAW files

i purchased nikon d7000. shot raw files , tried download iphoto, not possible. so, installed nikon view nx2, , transfer 2. raw images downloaded computer (late 2008 macbook pro, leopard 10.5.8, camera raw plug-in 6) view 2. showing followiing format:   _dsc001.nef

normally, should read:  dsc_001.nef

 

so within nikon software, can work on image, cannot export ps.  comes error image format unreadable.  (nor can find how out of view nx2 , might lack of reading info there, see)

 

i contacted nikon , told me change in image capture in mac apps. went there, image capture set change asked me do.

 

i tried download again, same problem. tried download iphoto, in order try , ps,  wouldn't. files unreadable.

jpeg, however, download, both file formats, , opensin iphoto , ps, whether there _ first or letter first.

 

so, don't know do. assuming plug-in's date.

 

my d70 raw transfers fine!!! d7000, not.

 

any info out there??? nikon has not replied second time when responded them.

why involving iphoto @ all?

have tried whether free dng-converter can convert nef-files?

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
