Reset Button Works Once

if has been posted previously, apologize; searched , couldn't find it.

 

using captivate 5, creating custom quiz question, not using built in quiz tools because client doesn't them (don't me started).  it's simple question 2 text entry boxes enter letter matching correct definition.  while checking correctness, there no actual scoring or retention of score. must right move on, however.  since there no way clear text entry field can find, using advanced actions retry button move next slide.  next slide dummy returns previous slide, resetting entire slide including teb.

 

here's problem:  works once.  if wrong , click retry works perfect.  if insist on getting wrong again , click retry, doesn't work.

 

anyone have idea of should checking here?

bit difficult find cause without seeing advanced actons. why did not try 1 of jim leichliter's widgets:

it allows control visibel in teb, , can change content of variable advanced action (for resetting). didn't blog particular widget, using textarea widget variable similar:
