Thread: VNC iPhone app

i have mythbuntu system pvr/tuner , shared files server house. configuration work on vncing main computer either wife can watch tv (on cable box pvr) without me taking tv screen doing uninteresting, or can accessible toddler while he's napping (tv computer in other corner of house, computer 1 room over).

now, wife , got new iphone 4's, , thinking maybe use vnc on things. i've downloaded mocha vnc lite v2.9, it's not working great me -- @ least not free "lite" version. has left-click mouse support (no drag, no rmb, etc.) , doesn't have full keyboard emulation. limitations causing small problems being unable open xfce's application submenus (only main menu open, , actual programs located in submenus), , terminal features take granted (like select, paste, , previous/next command). pay version of app has more features, it's not clear me whether fix menu problem, , i'm loath plink down cash find out still doesn't work.

has had success vncing linux boxes using iphone or android app? if so, app (there several available), , how work?

i paid use few bucks/pounds use vnc viewer realvnc , use on android on google nexus , works fine me no issues ?
