Thread: Wubi uninstall: How to remove the Windows Boot Manager from showing up


okay, know may sound ridiculous--i should know how this, iam failing attempts restore windows boot manager not show @ all.

(1) had ubuntu in windows installation using wubi (11.04)
(2) have uninstalled ubuntu windows 7
(3) when reboot, windows boot manager (wbm) still appears, time windows entry--ubuntu removed. (see screenshot--this when ubuntu still installed)
(4) want wbm not appear @ when each time boot. have tried
(a) using windows disc , going command prompt , typing > fixmbr or fixboot; not help; wbm still appears windows entry.
(b) have checked c:/ wubi left overs, drive clean , no wubi debris in there.

can me past point? want windows boot directly without passing through windows boot manager. please assist.
