8/21/2012 - Flash Player 11.4 Release Announcement

today we're pleased announce next version of flash player, 11.4.402.265, available immediate download.  update includes following new features:

 

  • concurrency (actionscript workers) — feature enables developers off-load tasks high-latency operations , long-running computations “workers”. these background workers run concurrently in order leverage more machine resources , avoid things ui freezes , allow content more responsive.
  • stage3d constrained mode — new parameter context3d has been introduced called "constrained profile".  constrained profile allows stage3d content run hardware accelerated on more hardware, intel gma chipsets. starling framework has been updated constrained mode ready.
  • stagevideo.attachcamera — provides webcam support stagevideo. allows developers leverage gpu acceleration render webcam video streams.
  • camera.copytobytearray/camera.copytovector — allow efficient copy of video frames pixels existing bytearray or vector.
  • lzma support bytearray — in addition zlib compression of bytearray, introducing additional compression type based on lzma compress data inside bytearray through bytearray.compress() , bytearray.uncompress().

current flash player desktop users have enrolled in either "allow adobe install updates (recommended)" or "notify me install updates" update mechanisms receive update notification within 7 days today (please note windows users need restart system receive notification dialog.)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
