Error (150:30) for Acrobat Pro 9.3 and PS 3 & 4 CS

i had nice call support person @ 800 number, thought still post problem in hopes might still move towards solution.

 

i lost use of acrobat pro 9.5.1 in june when updated mac os lion (os x 10.7.4). after upgraded lion, acrobat pro 9.5.1 stopped working , started giving me notice saying, "suite product activation needed".

 

i unistalled program , reinstalled acrobat pro 9.3.0 orginal adobe cs 5 design standard disk. @ point found reinstall still did not work , had created additional set of problems. stopped working on because leaving main office summer , figured survive short term adobe reader. figured patch present given enough time.

 

now back, i've found time revisit this. wondering if somehow missed opportunity fix because lion upgraded mountain lion , upgraded mac os before finding fix acrobat.

 

i spent of yesterday working on , found:

 

1) cannot not upgrade acrobat pro @ all. stuck on version 9.3.0. important because saw 9.5.2 released and, if has patch, cannot use because can't 9.5.1.

 

2) have been on boards looking solution. did find support document #51260 (which phone support directed me well). document, "error 'licensing has stopped working'|mac os", outlines fixes through lion, has not been updated mountion lion.

 

3) document #51260, went ahead , downloaded licenserecoverylauncher have it. problem, however, powerpc app , mounton lion no longer supports powerpc apps.

 

4) because of document #51260, tried opening older photoshop programs cs 4 , cs 3. same (150:30) notice photoshop cs4 ver 11.0.2 , notice saying licensing has topped working photoshop cs3 version 10.0.1.

 

5) since i'm writing this, find getting same licensing notice illustartor cs 3 & 4 , in design cs 3 & $.

 

6) 1 program can use photoshop cs 5 version 12.0.4

 

 

as said earlier, wondering if didn't miss window of sort fix not seeing fix lion described in document #51260. wondering if problems related fact mac no longer supports powerpc apps.

 

regardless, problem of not being able run acrobat pro 9 still exists me , current fix document not solve issue mountain lion. there updated fix does?

mac pro (early 2008)

processor  2 x 2.8 ghz quad-core intel xeon

memory  2 gb 800 mhz ddr2 fb-dimm

graphics  nvidia geforce 8800 gt 512 mb

software  mac os x 10.8.1 (12b19))

 

 

ps - tried downloading acrobat 9.5.1 , when click on installer warning message saying "acroproupd951_all" application froman unkown source , sure want open it. did open it, not run program. takes me mac hd/users/my user name/documents/acrobat user data , there nothing select. can't slect acrobat pro icon in apps folder. web browser firefow 15.0
