Mac or PC?

i going editing 1080p video canon rebel t2i using premiere pro , after effects. direction go? pc or mac? , why?

mac's hookers, sexy , expensive. after have spent money, wonder if worth it.

 

i can't think of more 2 advantages of mac's , build quality , runs, once connected wall outlet. great. rest can think of lot of cons in comparison pc:

 

  • high price
  • no bluray support
  • no esata support
  • more problems premiere pro
  • outdated technology
  • very limited choice of components
  • very limited , costly expansion options (thunderbolt)
  • limited support on forum
  • slower equally equipped pc
  • limited choice of auxiliary programs

 

what speaks pc in comparison mac?

 

  • better value money, better bang-for-the-buck
  • br , esata support
  • less problems premiere pro
  • latest technology
  • vast choice of components @ lower prices
  • vast choice of expansion options @ better prices
  • extensive support on fora. (more 90% of computers pc)
  • significantly faster equally equipped mac
  • vast choice of auxiliary programs

 

i hope of recent converts mac pc (like lasvideo) can give hands on comparison views well.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
