no valid stacks in your selection

using trial version of elements 10 @ moment, 1 of features find duplicate photos. when first downloaded feature worked perfect, since stopped working when search duplicates give me message "no valid stacks in selection".... i've tried renaming thumb cache file old, i've tried deleteing , re-importing entire catalog, i've tried un-installing , re-installing whole program no dice.

to prove problem , not lack of duplicates hard belive 8500 photos, duplicated file , tried find duplicates, tried find visually simular files every photo inculding exact duplicate scored 0%.

 

any 1 got ideas?

 

its running on windows 7 64, have had couple of photoshop has stopped workign windows time time, elements 11 coming out going more stable 10? there trial version? @ moment im being put off of purchasing @ end of trial.

for duplicates problem, use help...system info see qualified path catalog.  close pse, , use windows explorer navigate catalog directory.  delete "waldo data" subdirectory, has visual similarity data.  next time search visual similarity (or finding duplicates) data re-built.

 

for pse11, we're guessing released month.  no 1 knows included in it, can safely assume have bug fixes new features.  there trial version, since that's adobe has been doing software.  @ point in time, you'll better off waiting new version , downloading trial when released.
