currently, graphics working in low resolution mode, and, having read through ubuntu 10.04 “lucid” blank screen @ startup : workaround assumed edit grub add entry "i915.nomodeset=0", cannot discover how @ it.
can't find grub file in file system, hidden files shown.
can tell me how find it, or if can add line through terminal ?

old newbie, i'd appreciate full how-to

i've found grub/menu.lst assume need add instruction, above "i915.nomodeset=0", , type in after "quiet splash" entry ?
