Thread: How to move a Grub2 partition?


how move grub2 partition?

current partitions
have following partitions:
- sdb1 ntfs 48.83gb xp
- sdb2 ntfs 416.84gb data
- sdb3 ext4 94.13gb grub2
- unallocated 465.75gb ---

aim
move ext4 partition containing grub2 middle of disc end of disc. allow me merge sdb2 , unallocated area 1 large 900gb drive.

question
how move ext4 partition whilst preserving start address , other relevant info, upon booting mbr still point directly after has moved?
