Thread: Mounting Network Attached USB Storage Device (WD & Netgear)

i'm wondering how can see network attached storage hard drive connected. i'd have folder in places -> network called nas if possible.

equipment:
os: ubuntu 11.04
router: netgear n600
storage: western digital book essential 2tb usb 2.0 + 3.0

far i've looked device logging router
http://www.routerlogin.net/start.htm
, looking @ advanced settings under usb device. can see has ip address of 192.168.1.1

can see files on hard drive , i've opened user manual provides windows , mac support. there no mention of linux.

i've looked in places -> network there nothing there other empty "windows network" folder.

thanks.
